Estrella: The Most Effective All-Natural Toothpaste and Mouth Rinse
By David Villarreal, DDS

Having practiced holistic/bio-compatible dentistry for the past 25 years, I have noticed how inflammation in the mouth can translate to poor health in other parts of the body. The American Dental Association recognizes that gum disease raises diabetes risk, cardiovascular disease, stroke, bacterial pneumonia, and other health problems. Through several years of research, I came upon scientific evidence supporting the efficacy of an essential oil antiseptic mouth rinse and toothpaste in controlling plaque. After a five-year study within my practice, I found significant evidence to back up developing the Estrella brand.

Formulated with natural herbs and essential oils, Estrella contains no harmful ingredients like sodium laurel sulfate or harsh abrasives. This unique formula is very concentrated and stimulating, so a small amount goes a long way. With exclusive HerbalBrite, Estrella All-Natural Toothpaste and Oral Tonic Rinse are effective whitening formulas and the perfect maintenance products to use after and between professional whitening treatments.

Both the Estrella All-Natural Toothpaste and Oral Tonic Rinse effectively infuse the mouth with oxygen, killing only bad bacteria and keeping good bacteria intact. As we age, our skin starts to dry out, so we need to use moisturizers. The same happens with our gums (also medications cause or exacerbate the situation); the oils in both Estrella products moisturize the gums. Best of all, both Estrella products are scientifically proven to reduce periodontal pockets, reduce gingival plaque, and resolve halitosis (bad breath)!

To understand the efficacy of the herbal complex used in the Estrella toothpaste and oral tonic rinse, I will describe the properties of some of the key ingredients.

Natural Anti-Inflammatory and Anti-Bacterial Selections:

Green Tea— Green tea inhibits plaque-forming enzymes. Its polyphenols and minerals are useful in fighting dental decay. As an antibacterial, it can prevent gingivitis and periodontal disease and can also treat halitosis.

Grapefruit Seed Extract— A broad-spectrum bactericide, fungicide, antiviral, and antiparasitic compound, grapefruit-seed extract helps combat plaque, tooth decay, toothaches, and gingivitis. As a disinfectant, it also helps in healing after tooth extraction and other dental procedures. Pau d'Arco— Pau d'Arco increases blood flow to tissues, helping to detoxify them while providing anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, antifungal, antioxidant, and antiviral benefits. Its anti-inflammatory actions make it a promising remedy for ulcerations and other inflammatory conditions.

Goldenseal— Goldenseal shows strong activity against bacterial assaults. It also helps to constrict blood vessels, which can help to heal bleeding gums.

Gum Stimulants:

Calendula— Calendula reduces inflammation and swelling and is excellent for sensitive gums and protection from infection.

Echinacea Purpurea Root and Echinacea Angustofolia Root— These roots help relieve gingivitis and pyorrhea; they are also excellent for reducing the effects of sore throats. They can help relieve toothaches and can also make cells less susceptible to infections.

Witch Hazel— Witch Hazel helps to heal damaged, sensitive gums and the mucus lining of the mouth. It also works synergistically with other herbs as an excellent treatment for sore throats and tonsillitis. These ingredients, in addition to natural whitening agents, natural mineral polishing agents, and a combination of healing essential oils make Estrella products unbelievably effective and safe.
