About the Author: Donna Gates is an expert on candidiasis (CRC) and related immune disorders. She has done extensive research on how these debilitating conditions affect the body, mind, and spirit. She developed and tested the Body Ecology Diet on many different people who have all improved their health by following the basic principles of the Diet. Donna is a nutritional consultant, home economist and founder of Body Ecology, Inc., a leading nutrition company. She has studied with the top macrobiotic teachers, and she graduated from Lima Osawa's cooking academy in Japan. She holds an M.Ed. in Counseling form Loyola University and a B.S. in Early Childhood development from the University of Georgia.
Linda Schatz is a professional writer and editor. She is co-author of Managing By Influence (Prentice Hall) and has been a newswriter for ABC News and "Good Morning America." She also coaches authors on how to write books and book proposals. Her specialties are self-help books in areas such as health, nutrition, and business. Linda holds an M.A. in Communication from Stanford University and a B.S. in Journalism from the University of California, Berkeley.
