The CuZn Power Filter refill is designed to provide clean, great tasting drinking water for everyday use, travel, recreation, and emergency preparedness.
Cleaning Area:
* The Power Filter removes:
* Chlorine, bad taste, odor, silt, sand and sediment.
* Heavy metals such as aluminum, asbestos, cadmium, chromium, copper, lead, Radon 222 and mercury.
* Microscopic pathogens such as e-coli, cryptosporidium, giardia lamblia, and other bacteria.
* Filters up to 200 gallons (equal to 1,000 bottle refills).
Filter Media:
* The filter media is KDF (copper-zinc) and coconut shell carbon.
* The Power Filter has been tested by the EPA and state registered laboratories and meets or exceeds EPA, ANSI / NSF (std. 53) protocol.
Filter Change:
The filter should be changed every 1,000 bottle refills or 200 gallons.
Warranty:
There is a 1-year manufacturer warranty on the cartridge.
Return Policy:
Due to health reasons there are no returns on the sports bottle.
Additional Info:
To use the Sports Bottle remove the filter, fill the bottle with water, affix the cap firmly, flip the cap and flip nozzle to open and squeeze for filtered water. Always flush a new filter once to remove carbon fines. Store the filter dry when not used daily.
