We regret to inform you that after nearly 40 years of providing Health and Wellness education and products to hundreds of thousands of nationwide and international customers, NEEDS, Inc. will be closing our doors and ceasing operations at the end of June. Due to the ongoing changes in consumer behavior and the increased limitations placed on retailers by our vitamin and supplement vendors, NEEDS' reduced revenue over the past five years has led to insurmountable losses that our small business can no longer overcome.

The decision to close NEEDS has been extremely difficult as this family business began in 1986 when my Father-in-law Stan Meyerson began to sell vitamins and supplements on a mail order catalog basis from his Syracuse, NY pharmacy. After his unexpected passing in 2002, his daughter Wendy and I worked together to lead NEEDS through its greatest growth phase in the 2000s.

We want to express our gratitude to our dedicated and loyal employees for their many years of service. Each of our NEEDS employees made unique contributions to our organization and their ongoing commitment to our NEEDS clientele was second to none. They are the true heroes of the NEEDS legacy!

We also want to acknowledge and thank our many NEEDS customers who utilized the many educational services NEEDS provided over the years as we grew and relocated to four different buildings throughout Syracuse. It has been an honor and privilege to be a part of your lives and we thank you for your loyalty and patronage.

Beginning this week, NEEDS will operate on a Monday through Friday basis from 9 AM-5 PM EST. We will no longer have any Saturday hours.

ALL NEEDS Gift Cards will be honored through June 21st which is the last day to order products so they can be sent out prior to the end of June. No Gift Cards will be redeemable for Cash. Please call our Customer Service Team to use your Gift Cards over the next four weeks and receive your full value!

We will be sending out further e-mails about some Going Out of Business inventory specials in the near future as well. We also hope to provide you with additional information on how you may be able to continue to order the same quality products you have been purchasing from NEEDS over these many years at a later date.

Although saddened by this announcement, we are very proud of what we have accomplished in our efforts to improve the health and wellness of so many wonderful customers for nearly four decades.
