Don't be Duped by Vitamin D Denigrators
"Past TW articles detailed the unscientific errors of vitamin D researchers who denied the epidemic deficiency of vitamin D and even decided folks did not need to have their levels checked at all. Fortunately, honest researchers have proven 80% of U.S. folks are low. Plus, folks vary tremendously in their genetic needs for vitamin D. But, don't waste money on genetic studies. Just merely make sure your blood level is above 80 ng/ mL (or 200 nmol/L for our readers outside the U.S.) and not the ridiculously subtherapeutic 30ng/mL "norm" that is still on outdated lab reports (75 nmol/L). For remember, you can't heal any disease with inadequate vitamin D since every cell has vitamin D receptors and vitamin D controls over 600 genes."

Skip out on Sugary Drinks
"Being a tennis fan on and off the court, I see lots of tennis mates as well as professionals downing Mountain Dew, Gatorade, PowerAde, Amp, Squirt, Fanta Orange, and other "sports drinks"...A better choice would be to either bring your own alkaline water in glass or organic green tea in a stainless steel thermos to the courts. If you are going to need an energy infusion, there's no problem with adding your D-Ribose Powder to your Magnesium Powder. Or just buy some organic pomegranate juice in glass. There are lots of other options. Just don't fall for sports drinks whose ingredients' only promise is to bring you down."

Detox Tricks
"Arsenic contamination of ground and drinking water has become an almost silent global health catastrophe. It leads to liver cirrhosis, NASH (fatty liver, the #1 liver disease now), diabetes, kidney damage, heart attacks, as well as concerns of the skin, liver, bladder, kidney, and lung. Levels are high in folks who eat a lot of chicken, since arsenic is a common insecticide powder used to kill body lice of fowl raised in close quarters.

Fortunately for you, there are many ways to combat the dangers of this heavy metal. Examples range from electrondonated phyto-nutrients like optimized curcumin, to vitamins like my preferred form of folic acid, as in Folixor, to whole foods like pomegranate juice and even green beans! So the object is to make sure every day you have electron-donating phyto-nutrients, vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, amino acids, and whole foods (as live as possible) to balance out the destruction of ubiquitous yet unavoidable environmental toxins.

In the meantime, review Detoxify or Die so that you can reduce your daily onslaught of invisible toxins. Then proceed to The High Blood Pressure Hoax so that you can continually get rid of even more stored disease-promoting chemicals, including heavy metals like arsenic. And make sure you have enough glucuronidationinducing Brassica every day (cabbage, arugula, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, kale, radishes, collard greens, cauliflower, etc.) For health is merely a question of getting enough electrons to enable you to restore nutrient levels and lower toxin levels (TW 2010-18). Luckily you have countless ways to pull this off, FRIENDS!"

Being Careful About Clots
"If you don't know what it stands for it's time to become an expert in it. For deep vein thrombosis could also be called the computer disease. The reason is folks who sit more than four hours a day have a 50% increase of dying from blood clots, either to the heart, brain, or lungs, which started silently in the legs. And this occurs more readily in people with cancers and other common chronic diseases— like arthritis. Most people with DVT have no symptoms. The lucky ones get swelling of the legs, varicosities, redness, tenderness, tired legs, achy legs, or skin lesions to warn them that all is not well. But, most folks are not lucky enough to get any of these warnings.

Your best daily protection (aside from all of the things you've been learning the last couple of years in TW) is to take two Nattokinase NSK-SD and not just plain nattokinase, twice a day. And make sure that you have the heparin injection (2011 TW) available for emergencies if you do throw a clot. Remember, nattokinase is to be taken at least two hours away from food. You want it dissolving clots, not digesting food. And as you learned in TW, if you think you need even more for protection (long flights coming up, varicose veins, elevated crystal ball tests, like D-dimer of LpPLA2, etc.), add two big squirts of Kyolic Liquid twice a day, two SuperBio Tocotrienols, and one Niacin-Time."

Choosing Good Fats
"Canola is also used as a pesticide, an industrial lubricant found in cosmetics, plastics, inks, paints, etc. All canola is genetically modified (GMO), since man thinks he can one-up God (originally it was very toxic rapeseed oil). It is also resistant to the herbicide Round-Up (glyphosate), which means it is usually heavily contaminated with the toxic herbicide that you've learned about in past TW issues. In fact, just this ubiquitously unavoidable pesticide can be a major cause of leaky gut that then leads to autoimmune disorders like lupus, as well as the emergence of new allergies, fibromyalgia, MS, etc.

A general rule could be to have most of your fats in the 2nd and 3rd quintiles, while the EPA and DHA are in the 5th or higher, with a 4:1 ratio of omega-3: to omega-6—not the other way around as many recommend. Remember DHA (docosahexanenoic acid) is an amyloid eater, meaning it greatly lessens your chances of dementia, Alzheimer's, and brain deterioration. Also, remember that when it comes to oil you want the best quality—my favorite is Carlson's Lemon-Flavored Cod Liver Oil. As you have learned in much more detail in the last few years of TW any oil is pretty useless, unless you have the anchor of PC Powder, plus the 8 forms of vitamin E to protect it from oxidation, and ALC Powder to carry these substances into the cell membrane (all described in detail in the last few years of TW)."
