Phospholipids for Healthy Cell Membranes
Submitted by Nutrasal
What are Phospholipids?
Phospholipids make up the cell membrane. Like bricks of a wall, cellular membranes act as barriers to protect each cell and organelle in the human body, maintaining cellular structure, function, and cooperation. Membranes are an essential building block for life as cells, tissues, organs, and organisms cannot be formed without them. Without cellular membranes, life as we know it would not be possible.
One of the key phospholipids (PL) in a cell membrane is phosphatidylcholine (PC), an indispensable molecule for cell creation, regeneration, and differentiation. The cell wall controls which molecules enter the cell and how much enters. Phospholipids of the cell membrane contain the "good fats," like omega-3 fatty acids, and maintain the activity of specialized enzymes that control certain cell functions. PL also provides phosphates for ATP (energy) formation, helps with breaking down fats, and controls red blood cell clumping, among other actions. It plays a vital role in human life, particularly when unhealthy lifestyle choices are made.
Excess consumption of processed carbohydrates, sugar, highfructose corn syrup, alcohol, drugs, and other assaults can cause membrane damage. Without a fluid and functional cell wall, the membrane becomes rigid, functionality decreases, and health and well-being diminish.
If the membrane is damaged, PC becomes essential to help form, proliferate, restore, and regenerate cell membranes, as well as enhance membranedependent metabolism. PhosChol by Nutrasal, is 100% Purified Phosphatidylcholine (PPC), which provides concentrated, highabsorption PC to support healthy cell membrane activity.
Purified PPC is important to cell membranes, but can also be combined with other nutrients to improve their performance and bioavailability. PPC helps increase absorption, bioavailability, and efficacy of fat-soluble nutrients, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and other essential nutrients that are typically poorly absorbed.
What are Liposomes?
Liposomes use phospholipids, especially phosphatidylcholine (PC), to make a special bilayer that is both water- and fat-soluble. Liposomes act as a carrier for various ingredients to improve absorption.
Liposomes are widely used as active ingredients (e.g. PhosChol), and as pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and cosmeceutical excipients. Phospholipid-based delivery applications become very interesting as they offer many oral and topical applications for phospholipids in general, and purified phosphatidylcholine (PPC) in particular.
Nutrasal's unique and versatile LipoZome™ delivery system is a next generation liposome that can be used for a variety of applications in over-the-counter drug products, cosmetic and personal care products, and dietary supplements.
Just a few sublingual sprays throughout the day deliver 100% of the RDV of most of the entire B-vitamin family. The convenient two-ounce bottle and sublingual spray delivery allows you to take your Bs on the go. Spray multiple times per day for consistent blood levels and sustainable all day energy support.
The B-complex vitamins are essential to maintaining healthy cardiovascular, nervous, immune, musculoskelatal, and energy systems, among others.
LipoZome-C with B12 (Methylcobalamin) in a base of L-arginine
LipoZome-C contains liposomal C and B12. Both of these nutrients are in high demand. Vitamin C may help to support a healthy immune system, cardiovascular system, eye health, pediatric health, and skin wrinkles. Vitamin B12 may help to support a number of systems including: neurologic, immunologic, vascular, gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal, and hematologic, among others.
Magnesium L-Arginine Cream
Magnesium L-Arginine Cream is a smooth, quickly-absorbed liposomal preparation of magnesium chloride and L-arginine, in a nourishing and moisturizing base of organic aloe, coconut oil, and essential oils. The cream is fragrance-free and does not contain artificial preservatives.
Topically applied, magnesium may restore cellular magnesium levels, act as a cellular protectant, support detoxification, sooth aches and pains, and relieve stress.
Topically applied L-arginine may help blood flow and circulation, especially in the hands and feet, as well as other sensitive areas for both men and women.
