Product Description: The "All in One" Ceramic Filter (AIO) is designed to remove parasites, bacteria, chlorine, chloramine, lead, particulate, chemicals, trace amounts of pharmaceuticals and fluoride/heavy metals. In addition, it will improve taste and odor of the source water. The AIO Ceramic Filter has been tested at several independent laboratories in accordance with NSF protocols. The AIO Ceramic Filter is also uniquely cleanable to remove sediment and restore flow. Elemental silver is incorporated into the ceramic shell to prevent the regrowth of microorganisms trapped in the filter.
Specifications: * The housing is made of medical grade-ABS plastic.
* It stands 12.5" high, 6.5" diameter and weighs 6 pounds.
Cleaning Area: The ceramic carbon filter will reduced the following:
* Parasites & Bacteria >99.9999%
* Turbidity is reduced >99%.
* Lead @ 150 ppb >99%, 500 gallons
* Chlorine @ 2ppm >99%, 2000 gallons
* THMs & HAAs >98%
* VOCs ~95%, 400 gallons
* Particulates @ 0.5 microns > 99.9999%,
* Bad Taste & Odor - Class 1
* Fluoride @ 0.8 ppb
* Aluminum, Arsenic III + V, Cadmium, Chromium III, Iron, Manganese, Nickel >80%
*Mercury, Chromium VI ~50%
Filter Media: Ultra-Ceramic with Metalgon filter uses micro-filtration to eliminate parasites and bacteria down to 0.3 microns, and high density activated carbon to reduce chlorine, chloramine, bad taste & odor, turbidity, lead, fluoride, THMS & HAAs, and VOCs.
Please note that because the Imperial Ultra-Ceramic with Metalgon has a smaller pore size, the flow rate will be approximately 20-30% slower than the standard ceramic filter. This allows for more contact time with the filter to remove higher levels of parasites and bacteria, as well as additional chemicals. Additional chemical and heavy metals in the source water will effect the performance of the ceramic filter.
Filter Change: 1-2 People change the filter every 9 months.
2-4 people change the filters every 6 months.
br> Intervals for changing filter will vary. High sediment will require frequent cleaning or an additional sediment filter. Do not continue to use filters past recommended time period.
Warranty: There is a 1-year manufacture warranty on housing and component parts.

Additional Info: Cleaning Instructions: Dirt and rust can be removed from the surface of the ceramic filter restoring the flow rate and increasing the life span of the filter for up to 1 year. Use an abrasive, non-detergent pad (scotch bright) and lightly rub the sediment off the ceramic filter. Do not use a brush or brillo pad. It will damage the ceramic filter. Do not try to restore the filter to the original color, too much wear will lower the efficiency of the filter and could damage the ceramic.
