White Lotus Home pillows are eco-friendly and socially conscious, made with the safest ingredients available. They take their time sewing and stuffing each pillow by hand to ensure only the highest quality reaches our customers. Because they use only natural fibers, the pillows are far more breathable than any synthetics. The cotton they use is known as "green" cotton. This means that once it is harvested from the bolls it is unprocessed - no bleaches, dyes or fungicides. What this means to you is the most natural bedding, short of certified organic, at an affordable price. Question: Are there any chemicals in the cotton pillows? Answer: No. We carry the Non-Borate Cotton. This cotton is NOT organic, but is not washed nor treated with any bleach or chemicals. Borate or Boric Acid is an ingredient that they add to other pillows as a fire retardant; we opted not to carry those. Question: Where do they get their cotton? Answer: The cotton is grown in Texas. Question: What are the covers on the pillows made of? Answer: 100% unbleached cotton, not organic. Question: Can you wash White Lotus Home pillows? Answer: No, you cannot submerge the pillows. This would make them clumpy. Question: How do you care for the pillows? Answer: You can spot clean the pillows. Using a mild natural soap, spot clean and either air dry, or set them in the sun to dry. It is best to have a protective cover on the pillow under the pillowcase; this will help protect the pillows from becoming soiled. Question: How can I re-fluff my pillows? Answer: You can put the pillows in the dryer on a low setting, adding a knotted towel, or tennis balls will help fluff them back in shape. Some people would not be able to tolerate the tennis balls as they may leave a rubber scent on the pillows.
