CoQ10 is an essential cofactor found in our food supply and is also produced in our body to support cellular energy production and healthy cardiovascular function. Found in most cells in the body, and at especially higher levels in the heart, brain and muscle tissues, CoQ10 is critical in the production of bioenergy and the quenching of free radicals. CoQ10 is an antioxidant that has protective effects against oxidation by free radicals. CoQ10 levels typically fall with age and supplemental Twinsorb CoQ10 can restore serum and tissue stores of this important coenzyme. Twinsorb CoQ10 softgels now deliver two times as much of the heart's antioxidant CoQ10 than original Twinsorb. In a published human clinical trial, healthy adults took equal dosages of either a standard softgel capsule containing CoQ10 suspension in oil, powder-filled hardshell CoQ10 capsules, powder-based CoQ10 tablets, or a highly solubilized CoQ10 softgel manufactured using the same process as Twinsorb CoQ10. Comparatively, the bioavailability of the highly solubilized form of CoQ10 like that used in Twinsorb CoQ10 was significantly higher than the levels with the other three forms of CoQ10. The Twinsorb softgels are easy to swallow and dissolve quickly in the digestive system.
