Product Description:
The Seagull water filter is instant, effective "Natural Purification" through a proprietary "Structured Matrix" technology for removal of specific microbiological, chemical and aesthetic contaminants all WITHOUT chemicals, electricity, hold time, multiple pass through or large storage tanks. More importantly, it leaves beneficial minerals and electrolytes in water. It is independently certified to meet EPA Microbiological Purification Standards against cysts, bacteria & virus. It excels at chemical and aesthetic contaminant removal.
Cleaning Area:
The rated capacity for the RS-1SG cartridge is 1,000 gallons. The flow rate is 1 gallon per minute.
Filter Media:
The RS-1SG "Structured MatrixT" purification cartridge is a 4-Stage filtration system. Stage 1 is the new pre-filter wrap. Stage 2 is ultrafine microstraining which physically removes disease causing bacteria, pathogenic cysts like Giardia, Cryptosporidium and other specific parasites and debris down to 0.1 microns (0.4 absolute). Stage 3 is a Broad Spectrum Molecular Capture which traps and contains organic and other chemicals such as pesticides, herbicides and solvents, as well as chlorine and other trace contaminants that can be toxic and/or carcinogenic, along with foul taste, odor and color. Stage 4 is electrostatic removal that uses specially charged space-age surfaces as chemical magnets to remove minute particles, molecules and colloids suspended in water.
Filter Change:
The filter should changed every 1,000 gallons (approximately 1 year), when the flow rate decreases, or when foul tastes and odors become apparent (evidence of extra heavy loading of sulfur, tannin, iron or other contamination). This cartridge fits models X-1F, X-1D and X-1P.
Return Policy:
In the event the filter isn’t working out for you, you may return it within 2 weeks of purchase. You must contact our Customer Service Department for a return authorization number. Complete the return form that was sent with your invoice. Be sure to include any materials you received, such as the instruction booklet, as well as any parts that may have come with the filter. All filters must be put in a separate box so that there are no shipping labels or writing on the original packaging. We suggest you insure the package and all return shipping charges are your responsibility. Upon its return, the filter will be inspected, and if it is in resellable condition we will credit you back less a 10% restocking fee.
In the event the filter is damaged or defective, please save all packing material and contact our Customer Service Department immediately for further instructions.
