All the water used for drinking, cooking, bathing, washing and landscaping benefits from being purified by one central system. This system will safeguard your health and protect your plumbing and appliances from staining, corrosion and scale. The Whole House System will provide years of service and most models can be refilled when the media bed is exhausted.
Specifications:
* The size of the first tank is 42 inches tall and 8 inches in diameter. * The second tank is 37 inches tall and 8 inches in diameter. * It is important that these tanks be installed in an area where they will not freeze. * This system hooks up to the main water line coming into the home and it must to be installed by a licensed plumber. * It is advised to get quotes on the installation before purchasing this system.
Cleaning Area:
* The Whole House System will remove hundreds of contaminants including chlorine, lead, heavy metals, asbestos, iron, hydrogen sulfide and hard scale. * CuZn-filtered water is noticeably softer without salts or chemicals. * The Whole House System will filter up to 500,000 gallons of water and the flow rate is 6-10 gallons per minute.
Filter Media:
* The first tank is filled with a copper-zinc medium and includes an automatic backwash head. * The second tank contains a premium grade, de-dusted, acid-washed coconut shell carbon. * It comes with a flow-through head. * An automatic backwash head is an additional option. * Both tanks can be refilled.
Filter Change:
Water usage and the quality of your water will play a big factor as to when the filter should be changed. This filter will need to be changed every two to five years.
Warranty:
There is a 5-year manufacturer warranty on the housing and a 2-year warranty on the filter.
Return Policy:
Whole House filtration systems are not returnable.
