Product Description: The Shower Cleen shower filter removes 99% of chlorine, bacteria, organic waste, trihalomethane, and common carcinogens. It also controls mildew, promotes healthier skin and hair, improves rinsability, reduces shampoo buildup, increases hair manageability, and eliminates the risk of color change to treated hair. The Shower Cleen shower filter has an automatic self-contained back washing feature to promote longer life, and it is easy to install.
Specifications: * The housing is made of a food/medical grade A.B.S. plastic.
* It will reduce the flow of your water to approximately 3 gallons per minute to allow proper filtration.

Filter Media: * This shower filter utilizes a three stage filtration system.
* The first stage is a 0.5 micron pre-filter.
* The second stage is a granular activated carbon filter.
* The third stage is MicroCleen a state-of-the-art bacteriostatic filter medium (copper/zinc).
Filter Change: * This is a sealed unit therefore there are no replacement filters.
* The shower filter should last 1-5 years depending on the number of people taking a shower, how long the shower lasts and the quality of the water.
Warranty: CWP Industries Inc. will warrant this product against defects for a period of one year from the date of purchase, or after 15,000 gallons of flow-through water, whichever occurs first. Within this period, CWP Industries Inc. will replace or repair any defective unit. Warranty does not cover postage, nor does it cover damage caused by misuse, accident or neglect.
Return Policy: In the event the unit isn’t working out for you, you may return it within 2 weeks of purchase. You must contact our Customer Service Department for a return authorization number. Complete the return form that was sent with your invoice. Be sure to include any materials you received, such as the instruction booklet, as well as any parts that may have come with the unit. All units must be put in a separate box so that there are no shipping labels or writing on the original packaging. We suggest you insure the package and all return shipping charges are your responsibility. Upon it’s return, the unit will be inspected, and if it is in resellable condition we will credit you back less a 10% restocking fee. In the event the unit is damaged or defective, please save all packing material and contact our Customer Service Department immediately for further instructions.
Additional Info: Installation: 1. Remove existing showerhead by using an adjustable wrench to unthread the top half of the showerhead from the shower arm pipe. 2. If your shower arm has an integral ball joint, it may either be replaced with a standard 1/2" shower arm available at any hardware store or an adaptor may be used. 3. Wrap approximately 6" of thread sealing tape around the 1/2" threads of the shower arm. 4. Attach SHOWERCLEEN by threading unit onto shower arm. Do not overtighten. 5. Allow water to be run through SHOWERCLEEN for 2 to 3 minutes before first use. 6. It is recommended that you do not use showerheads with integrated or built-in water shut-off levers or controls. 7. SHOWERCLEEN can be converted to be used with a hand-held shower unit. Maintenance: None.
