Cassava root source buffered vitamin C production includes minimal processing with one corn-derived ingredient, but it is generally well tolerated by corn-allergic individuals. It provides macrominerals calcium and magnesium carbonates which become mineral ascorbates in solution with a buffered, alkalinizing action (6.8 in water). Developed by Stephen A. Levine, Ph.D. Appropriate for most food-sensitive individuals. Hypoallergenic.
